I am at the airport getting ready to fly to Quito, Ecuador!!! So I decided to take some time to tell you some about these last 4 days at training camp which have been amazing!

I have really enjoyed meeting my amazing teammates in person and living life whether it was attending sessions, sleeping on the ground, or just hanging out. I am really thankful for how World Race has their training camp set up to spend time focusing on your relationship with God and strengthening it, getting to know your teammates, and getting used to not always being comfortable before leaving the country for months on end.

God has been teaching me more and more about who He made me to be and our walk together through life. We have had many great sessions by some amazing people on staff at World Race. So I have many stories about what God has been teaching me at Training Camp, but for now to keep it short I am going to share one of my favorite things I have learned. The session was all about hearing God’s voice and how to test whether it was from Him or someone else. During the session she told us this story from her trip a couple years ago where they were in China ministering to a girl there and while they were talking she told them something like ‘I really want to talk to God but I can’t speak enough English.’ Which shocked her and she responded with something like ‘That doesn’t matter, God will speak to you in ways which you will understand.’ Which I think is an amazing point!! I love knowing that the God who created the universe is speaking to me in a way that I can understand Him and have a relationship with Him!!

Talk to you guys soon!!
