Hello everyone and Happy New Year!!!

Everything is starting to feel so real now. I have a little less than a month before I launch on my mission trip in January. I officially bought a plane ticket to GA for training camp and I am figuring out all the last minute stuff I need to buy/pack for my trip. We are actually launching and I can’t wait!!

If you haven’t heard yet my route has changed. I will be going to Ecuador, and if the borders open I might be able to go to Peru and/or Colombia too. I will be starting training camp in GA on January 22nd and will be flying out to Quito, Ecuador on the 26th where I and my team will be partnering with a local ministry group called Incalink. I don’t know exactly what we will be doing with them, but they have many amazing ministry opportunities in Ecuador including serving local churches, working at a home for kids with special needs, serving at an after school program for at-risk street kids, sports ministry, and many more opportunities throughout Ecuador.

As for fundraising it is going amazingly well. I have been able to meet the deadlines that the World Race has set for us so far and I am 80% funded. God has raised $5,100 dollars so far and I only need $1,300 more to be fully funded for this trip!

Thank you everyone who has supported me through all the twists and turns and change in plans with prayer and funding. I am so glad to be able to finally say that I am launching! I can’t wait to see where and what God has planned for this trip and for me!
